The SHDSL.bis interface provides business-class, multi-range from 192kbps to 5.696Mbps (2-wire router) and 384Kbps to 11.392Mbps (4-wire router) symmetric payload rates over existing copper wires.

Besides standard M-Pair (multiple pairs) application, the DSL interface of SHDSL.bis 4-wire routers also support the following modes in the end-to-end application of Proscend SHDSL.bis Routers:
Auto Fall Back Mode: In 4-wire connection, the 2-wire will keep active even after the other 2-wire lost link
Standby Mode: The standby 2-wire will become active when the other 2-wire lost link
Multi-Link Mode: The remote 2-wire CPE routers on either loop of the 4-wire CO router can be in different locations.
