Complying with TCPAM32, 5110B/5111B G.SHDSL.bis B/Router is able to extend the longer distance at same data rate or higher date rate at same distance contrast to conventional G.SHDSL device (TCPAM16).

With bandwidth of up to 5.696Mbps, the 5110B/5111B outperform both T1's at 1.544 Mbps and E1's at 2.048 Mbps. By using a standard phone wire as a connection medium, the owner cost (purchasing, installing, and maintenance) of the 5110B/5111B is reduced dramatically comparing with T1/E1. By embedded bridging and routing function, two 5110B/5111B routers work as gateways from remote office to headquarter without expensive CSU/DSU peripherals and V.35 Cisco routers. Inter-LAN communication between separated two offices just need one telephone pair and two 5110B/5111B routers.

Using existing telephone lines, the 5110B/5111B consolidate all traffic onto a single high-speed trunk for Internet activities or sharing a corporate intranet. 5111B/5111B is designed not only to optimize the service bit rate from central office to customer premises but also integrates high-end Bridging/ Routing capabilities. In addition to the basic function, 5111B come with advanced functions such as Multi-DMZ, Stateful Packet Inspection(SPI) and VPN pass-through.
